The Gale Centre played host this week to 24 teams, over 600 players, and dozens of NHL scouts for OJHL Governor's Showcase.
Over the last 3 days, players from the entire league came together compete, be seen by scouts, and prove they're ready for what's next in their hockey career.
OJHL Commissioner Craig Prada says recent changes in the junior hockey landscape present more opportunities for kids in the league now.
He also mentioned some new additions this year, such as a larger focus on social media and a new training initiative.
But, having done this annually for 17 years now, Prada says his favourite part is seeing all the interaction with the kids.
Along with our local Niagara Falls Canucks, the OJHL also includes teams from Leamington, Collingwood, and even across the border in Buffalo!
