A longtime Niagara business is celebrating a major milestone with the opening of its second showroom.
Milestone Millwork and Custom Kitchens is holding a grand opening Friday at its new location at 2485 First Street Louth in St. Catharines.
Sales Manager Chantal Visi says it's a great look behind the scenes.
The grand opening will feature a community barbecue from noon until 4 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside St. Catharines Mayor Mat Siscoe at around 1 p.m. There will also be tours of the showroom and manufacturing facility, along with beverages and a washer toss game.
The locally owned company has been operating in Niagara for more than 21 years, and Visi says reaching the point of opening a second showroom is a source of pride for the entire team.
The event is also raising money for Habitat for Humanity Niagara, giving the company an opportunity to celebrate its growth while giving back to the community that helped it get there.
For Milestone, the new St. Catharines location represents more than just an expansion - it's a chance to bring its work and its manufacturing process even closer to the people it serves.
