West Lincoln staying prepared for potential flooding despite limited damage so far

West Lincoln says the community has avoided the worst impacts from the recent heavy rainfall and flooding across Niagara.

The Township has been monitoring conditions and preparing crews to respond, with only minor flooding reported on some rural roads and no closures required.

Mayor Cheryl Ganann says while the damage in West Lincoln has been limited, the Township understands the impact flooding can have on residents and remains committed to supporting those affected.

Residents who experienced flooding on their property or in their basement are asked to contact the Township so staff can track impacts and help coordinate any future support.
