The Township of West Lincoln is launching a road safety pilot project aimed at slowing traffic and improving safety for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.
From June 8th to 19th, temporary measures will be installed in the urban area bounded by Canborough Street, Townline Road and Twenty Mile Creek.
Residents may notice new 40-kilometre-an-hour speed limit signs, pavement markings and enhanced school crossing signage as part of the initiative.
Township staff will monitor traffic patterns and gather public feedback to determine whether the measures should be considered for future road safety improvements across West Lincoln.
