A 59-year-old Welland man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Thorold.
Burlington OPP say it happened Monday night around 8 c'clock on southbound Highway 58 near Allanburg Road.
The highway was closed between Thorold Stone Road and Highway 20 while investigators examined the scene, reopening shortly after 2:30 Tuesday morning.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam or surveillance footage is asked to contact Burlington OPP.
