Welland man charged in connection to stun gun package at Pearson Airport

A man from Welland is facing a grocery list of charges after a package seized at Pearson Airport revealed a pair of stun guns.

In October, border officials discovered the two stun guns in a shipment being sent from the United States to Welland. This led investigators to search a Welland home, where officers recovered a shotgun, a stolen rifle and two crossbows.

As a result, 58-year-old Michael Racine has been charged with 11 offences, including smuggling and possession of a stolen weapon.
