An early morning fire in Wainfleet has claimed the life of one person.
Just after midnight Wednesday, emergency crews responded to a structure fire on Forks Road between Young's Road North and Morog Road. One man was found with significant burn injuries, and was taken to hospital and is now in critical but stable condition.
Firefighters discovered the body of a person inside the structure. The age and sex of the person is currently unknown, while the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
