Campaign helps supply kids with school supplies
Village of Hope Niagara has kicked off its annual Back-to-School Campaign, with more than 400 children already signed up for support this fall.
The campaign provides each registered student with a new backpack filled with grade-appropriate school supplies, while also helping families throughout the year with healthy school snacks and internet subsidies.
The organization is asking the community to help by sponsoring a child for $75.
Founder and CEO Cheryl Keddy-Scott says every child deserves to start the school year with confidence, dignity and the tools they need to succeed.
