A motor vehicle accident in Niagara-on-the-Lake this morning has led to the death of one driver.
On Monday morning, April 13, at 9:30, emergency vehicles responded to reports of a two-vehicle head-on collision on Niagara Stone Road. One male driver was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to hospital with minor injuries, with no other occupants reported in either vehicle.
Niagara Stone Road between Concession 7 road and Airport Road is expected to remain closed for several hours while the Collision Reconstruction Unit investigates.
