Two Welland Canal bridges in Port Colborne will close this week for scheduled maintenance.
Today, the Mellanby Avenue Bridge will close from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tomorrow, the Clarence Street Bridge will be off limits from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
According to the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corp., both vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be restricted during the closures.
The Seaway says the work is part of preventive maintenance and is subject to change.
