Forty-nine Ontario paramedics have been recognized for more than three decades of exemplary service with the Governor General’s Emergency Medical Services Medal Bars.
The awards, presented in Toronto at the Canadian Forces College, honour paramedics who have served 30, 40, and 50 years in the field.
Among this year’s recipients was a Niagara paramedics Giovanni Prioriello and Lynne Redman who both received a First Bar for over 30 years of service.
