The Niagara Catholic District School Board has announced the 2026 recipients of the Niagara Catholic Education Award of Distinction.
Current trustee and Niagara Foundation for Catholic Education Executive Director Jim Marino, along with the late Catholic educator and former OECTA Niagara Elementary President Joseph McDonald, were selected for their lasting contributions to Catholic education.
Their recognition was shared with trustees at a meeting earlier this month.
