The Town of Lincoln is reporting results from a recent commercial vehicle enforcement blitz conducted with Niagara Region, Niagara Regional Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police, and the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario.
The one-day operation focused on trucks and trailers using local roads to avoid inspection on the Queen Elizabeth Way.
Officers inspected 34 vehicles, with 14 placed out of service and 30 charges laid.
The Town says the effort supports road safety and works alongside a truck monitoring program aimed at improving compliance and protecting local infrastructure.
