Some very special “Tiny Teachers” are being celebrated in St. Catharines this week.
Babies taking part in the Roots of Empathy program will be recognized tomorrow for helping students across Niagara learn empathy, emotional awareness and kindness in the classroom.
The program brings parents and infants into schools throughout the year to help children better understand emotions and relationships.
More than 600 students in DSBN and Niagara Catholic classrooms took part this year.
