Three licenses suspended during NRPS Super Bowl RIDE checks

Three drivers had their licenses suspended during Super Bowl Sunday by Niagara Regional Police as part of RIDE spot checks.

Roughly 150 vehicles total were stopped in St. Catharines and Niagara Falls, with 19 drivers being asked for a breath test.  Three of those tests came back with an alert warning, and as a result their licenses were suspended.

Police remind you that impaired driving remains the leading cause of criminal offence causing death in Canada.
