Three charged in OPP illegal cannabis bust

Three people are facing charges following an OPP investigation into the alleged online sale and distribution of illegal cannabis across Niagara.

Police say Project Diagonal targeted an online dispensary operating under the names “Harmonized Hemp” and “CannaTrust,” which allegedly offered same-day delivery in Niagara and shipped products nationwide through courier services.

Search warrants executed at six properties and five vehicles in Niagara and Hamilton led to the seizure of more than $1.1 million worth of illegal cannabis products, along with 770 grams of mushrooms and about $13,000 in cash.

Charged are 32-year-old Jason Muscat-Tyler from Niagara-on-the-Lake, 31-year-old Sean Paul-Farr of Hamilton, and 37-year-old Michelle Dolbeck of St. Catharines.
