Thorold man facing several sex related charges involving a child

Niagara Regional Police have arrested a Thorold man following an investigation into a reported sexual assault in Port Colborne.

Detectives say a victim under the age of 16 was identified, and on September 3, the Child Abuse Unit took over the case.

As a result, 29-year-old Francesco Broccolo-Criger has been charged with multiple sex-related offences.

Police believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information, or who believes they may have been victimized, to contact investigators.
