Niagara Regional Police say a third suspect has been arrested in an ongoing human trafficking investigation that began in May.

Detectives with the Human Trafficking Unit arrested 19-year-old Darren Williams in Welland on Tuesday.

He is facing charges including trafficking in persons, procuring, uttering threats, forced marriage and procuring a feigned marriage.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to contact police.
