A 17-year-old boy is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a hit-and-run in Niagara Falls.
Police say the teen was riding an electric scooter when he was struck by a blue Pontiac Torrent near Lundy’s Lane and Royal Manor Drive Tuesday morning.
The SUV driver allegedly left the scene, leaving the teen severely injured on the roadway.
The vehicle was later located with help from Hamilton police, and the driver was arrested for impaired operation of a conveyance.
The NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the crash.
