Gambling mental health hotline use is way up in Ontario, a trend that's leaving some experts concerned.

A new study from the Canadian Medical Association Journal found calls to the province's hotline have gone up over 300% since the province legalized private online gambling four years ago.

The age impacted most is males aged 15 to 24, with a rise of 317%.

Betting volume in Ontario hit a record-high of $9.5-billion in January.
