A big boost for community support in Niagara.
On Friday, local MPP Jennie Stevens joined the team at Start Me Up Niagara to celebrate a new community van, made possible by a $76,700 capital grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The new vehicle replaces an aging van and will help the organization continue delivering essentials like food, donations, and bikes.
Start Me Up Niagara provides critical support for people facing poverty, food insecurity, housing instability, and mental health challenges, and reliable transportation is key as demand for services grows.
