St. Catharines man charged in connection to internet child exploitation investigation

The Niagara Regional Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit, with assistance from the Brantford Police Service, has laid additional charges following an undercover investigation.

Police say the probe began in January and led to a search warrant in February at a home in St. Catharines, where digital devices were seized.

34-year-old Jordan Bolger was initially charged with child luring, possession of child sexual abuse material, and breaching a court order.

Following a forensic review on May 4, police added charges of possession and making child sexual abuse material.

Bolger remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court May 12.
