A St. Catharines man is facing charges following a human trafficking investigation by Niagara Regional Police.
Detectives with the Human Trafficking Unit launched the investigation earlier this month after receiving information about the trafficking of a woman in Niagara.
With help from uniform officers, police arrested 28-year-old Syed Shah in St. Catharines on Monday.
He's charged with procuring, assault, and mischief under $5,000.
Investigators believe there could be additional victims and are asking anyone who has had contact with Shah, who also goes by the name "Fabs," to contact police.
