An investigation into historical child sexual assaults has led to the arrest of a St. Catharines man.
Two teenage female victims reported assaults between May 2025 and January 2026, alleged to have taken place at a home in St. David's, with the suspect known to the victims' families.
On Wednesday, April 15, 55-year-old Shawn Hollingsworth was arrested and charged with:
- 2 counts of Sexual Assault
- 2 counts of Sexual Interference
Detectives believe there may be additional victims, saying incidents could date back as far as the early 2000's. Anyone with information or who believes they may be a victim are being asked to call them at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009783.
