The future of the former General Motors lands in St. Catharines is moving forward with more public input.
The City is leading the Ontario Street Corridor Secondary Plan Study to create a long-term vision for redevelopment of the properties at 282 and 285 Ontario Street, as well as the surrounding corridor from the QEW to Welland Avenue.
The study is looking at everything from land use and transportation to infrastructure, the environment, urban design and heritage.
Residents will have another chance to weigh in during a public open house on July 29 at the Holiday Inn and Suites, where the draft Secondary Plan policies will be presented.
Public comments will be accepted until August 5.
