The City of St. Catharines has announced its plans for Canada Day on July 1st, with daytime festivities in the downtown core and a nighttime show along the waterfront.
Montebello Park will host a full day of free entertainment starting at noon, featuring live music, family activities, food trucks and headline performances by The Trews at 8:15 p.m.
The event is part of the city’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
Later that night, attention shifts to Rennie Park in Port Dalhousie for the city’s first-ever combined fireworks and drone show, beginning at 10 p.m.
Organizers say the goal is a day that blends national pride with community celebration from downtown to the waterfront.
