St. Catharines held a ceremony this week to thank their many volunteers.
The city's 38th Annual Volunteer Recognition Awards were held on Tuesday, honouring more than 70 members of the community for their unselfish and dedicated service.
Several volunteers were recognized for their significant impact, with Mayor Mat Siscoe presenting the 2026 Volunteer of the Year award to Bruce Krushelnicki, and the Lifetime Volunteer Service Award to Marie France-Marcie.
