The City of St. Catharines says its drinking water continues to meet high safety standards after extensive testing in 2025.
A report presented to Council on March 23 outlines results from more than 8,000 water samples collected and tested throughout the year.
Samples were analyzed by accredited labs for bacteria, chlorine levels and other chemicals, with results confirming the water meets all requirements under Ontario’s Safe Drinking Water Act.
City officials say ongoing monitoring helps ensure residents continue to receive clean and reliable drinking water.
The full report is available on the City’s website.
