The City of St. Catharines is cancelling outdoor activities today because of an air quality warning from Environment Canada.
Outdoor pools, sports fields, recreation programs and permits for outdoor spaces are all affected, and the Summer Concerts at Montebello Park will be rescheduled.
Residents looking to cool off can visit the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre, where extra leisure swims have been added, while splash pads remain open until 9 p.m.
