Ontario's SIU is investigating a police-involved shooting in Welland.
Around 9:15pm Saturday night, tactical members of NRPS responded to a home near Ontario Road and King Street to arrest a man wanted by Peel Regional Police.
The SIU says the suspect shot at police, who deployed gas into the home before another exchange of gunfire, in which the man was struck and killed.
One officer who was struck was brought to hospital and later released.
