A second bank robbery in Niagara this month has been thwarted by security systems.
Niagara Regional Police say on Wednesday around 5:00pm, three men with their identities concealed attempted to enter the Pelham bank, but were unable to because of security measures in place.
The men then fled in a black, four-door sedan. Police say this incident is being investigated on its own, and not in connection to a failed robbery in Wainfleet as the suspect descriptions are different.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect 1: White male, slim build, black hooded sweater, black pants, black face mask, white gloves, black and white shoes, sunglasses
Suspect 2: White male, slim build, black hooded sweater, black pants, black face mask, white gloves, black shoes
Suspect 3: White male, medium build, black pants, black face mask, grey gloves, black shoes. Wearing a Pink Black Sp5der hooded sweatshirt with phrase “nevermind the spider, P*nk! Here’s the slime”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
