$5500 grant to help plant new garden
A new native garden is taking root at St. Volodymyr Park in Beamsville thanks to a $5,000 grant from the Rotary Club of Lincoln.
The project includes two tulip trees and a variety of native plants that will support pollinators, boost biodiversity and enhance the park for visitors.
Town officials say it's another great example of community partnerships at work, while the Rotary Club hopes to bring similar native garden projects to other locations across Lincoln.
