The Niagara River Lions have clinched a spot at CEBL Championship Weekend, looking to defend their crown.
By finishing first in the Eastern Conference, Niagara will now skip the first two rounds of the playoffs, and go directly to the conference finals in August in Winnipeg.
The River Lions remain the only CEBL team to advance to Championship Weekend every year since the league's inaugural 2019 season, and this marks the third consecutive season that the River Lions have finished first place in the Eastern Conference.
The River Lions play their final home game of the season, dubbed Fan Appreciation Night, on Thursday at the Meridian Centre against the Ottawa Blackjacks.
