Local leaders gathered in Niagara Falls to mark the unveiling of the newly renovated interior of the city’s historic train station.
The $4.4-million project, funded through a partnership between all levels of government, represents the first step in transforming the 1879 landmark into a modern, accessible, multi-modal transit hub.
Renovations feature updated interiors, digital transit displays, heritage restoration, and improved facilities for GO Transit, VIA Rail, WEGO, and local transit passengers.
Officials say the upgrades will strengthen regional connectivity, boost economic development, and support Niagara’s growing tourism sector.
