Niagara Region is updating its long-term transportation strategy and wants to hear from you.
The plan will replace the Region’s 2017 Transportation Master Plan and guide road, transit, cycling and pedestrian infrastructure needs through the year 2051 as Niagara continues to grow.
Officials say the study will examine current transportation conditions, future travel trends and economic demands while identifying improvements needed to keep people and goods moving safely and efficiently across the region.
Public information sessions will be held next Tuesdayin St. Catharines and Wednesday in Welland, with additional opportunities for residents to provide feedback online before a final plan is presented to Regional Council in the fall of 2027.
