A man and a woman from Quebec are facing multiple charges after Niagara Parks Police investigated a series of pickpocketing incidents targeting visitors in Niagara Parks.
Police say the investigation began after a senior visitor reported having their wallet stolen while in line at a Zipline attraction on June 13.
That report was linked to a similar incident at Table Rock Centre last year, which had previously gone unsolved.
Officers later located the suspects in plain clothes on June 14 and say they observed an attempted theft before moving in to make arrests.
Both individuals remain in custody ahead of a bail hearing.
