The Ontario government is easing up on alcohol restrictions in provincial parks.
Alcohol will no longer be restricted to individual campsites, meaning you can enjoy a drink in picnic areas, beaches and other day use areas across the park...as long as you do so responsibly.
Existing rules still apply for unsafe or unlawful behaviour, including public intoxication, underage possession or consumption, and having open or improperly stored alcohol in a motor vehicle or boat.
The rules go into place as parks open for the Spring.
