Port Colborne voters will see a new council structure in place for the 2026 municipal election.
The Province of Ontario has approved changes reducing City Council from eight councillors to six, along with a mayor.
The city will now be divided into three wards, each represented by two councillors, with one ward covering rural Port Colborne and two representing urban neighbourhoods.
City officials say an online map showing the new ward boundaries is expected to launch later this week.
