Niagara police have arrested a Port Colborne man following an investigation involving the safety of children online.
The NRPS Internet Child Exploitation Unit began investigating in May and identified 42-year-old Joseph Franklin Crawford as a suspect.
Police executed a search warrant at a Port Colborne home Tuesday, with assistance from the Technological Crimes Unit.
Crawford is charged with two counts of failing to comply with court orders.
Investigators believe Crawford has been active as an online tutor for some time and are asking anyone who has had contact with him or has information about him to contact the NRPS ICE Unit.
