Port Colborne hosting open houses on regional governance

Port Colborne is inviting residents to share their thoughts as the city considers its position on potential changes to municipal governance in Niagara.

Mayor Bill Steele says it’s important the community has a say in any decisions that could impact how the city is governed.

Residents can take part through surveys, or by attending open houses set for tomorrow at City Hall and Friday at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre.

The city will also hold discussions with several advisory committees, with feedback from all sessions expected to be presented to council at a future public meeting.
