This week is Volunteer Week, and the City of Port Colborne is recognizing some of theirs on social media this week.
This year’s theme, “Ignite Volunteerism,” highlights the passion behind local efforts.
From the library and museum to Roselawn Centre, the city says volunteers help power its programs that operate year-round.
They also play a major role in events like Canal Days, which welcomed more than 65-thousand visitors last year.
If you’d like to get involved, volunteer opportunities are available year-round through the City of Port Colborne.
