Today is Municipal Election Day across Ontario, including in Niagara's 12 municipalities.
Voters heading to the polls will be choosing their mayor, city councillors and school board trustees.
We already know there will be four new mayors in the region, with the sitting mayors in Welland, Thorold, Lincoln and Niagara-on-the-Lake all deciding not to seek re-election.
One mayoral race is already decided, with West Lincoln Mayor Cheryl Ganann acclaimed after no other candidates filed to run.
