NRPS release video of jewellery thieves

Theft occurred on March 5

Niagara Regional Police are investigating a commercial break and enter that occurred at a Niagara Falls jewellery store earlier this year.

At approximately 5:35 a.m. on March 5, officers responded to a report of a break-in at Roberts Jewellers. The initial investigation determined that two masked suspects forced entry through the front doors around 5:20 a.m.

Once inside, the individuals stole multiple gold and diamond rings, along with various watches. The suspects fled the scene at approximately 5:25 a.m. in what is believed to be a dark grey or black minivan.

The first suspect is described as a white male, around 50 years old, wearing glasses. He was dressed in a dark green hoodie with the hood up, a baseball cap underneath, black pants, green shoes, black gloves, and a black scarf covering his lower face.

The second suspect is described as a heavyset male with a noticeable gait. He was also wearing a green hoodie with the hood up, a baseball cap, black pants, and blue shoes.

Detectives have released video footage of the incident, which can be viewed on Niagara Regional Police’s social media. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
