Police release image of fraud suspect at the Seaway Mall

Niagara Regional Police continue to investigate a fraud incident in the Welland and Pelham area.

Police say, thanks to tips from the public, investigators have obtained additional commercial surveillance footage of the suspect.

The man was seen on Thursday, April 30, between 3 and 4:15 p.m. at the Seaway Mall.

He is described as a Black male, approximately 35 years old, with a medium build, medium-length dreadlocks, and a goatee.

Investigators say the suspect was seen arriving in a white SUV, believed to be a Dodge Journey, with roof rails, a sticker on the rear window, a damaged front license plate cover, and damage to the rear passenger-side door near the wheel well.

Police are asking residents and businesses in the area to review any surveillance video and contact Niagara Regional Police if they spot the suspect or vehicle.
