Police re-arrest suspect in child luring investigation

Ahlstedt was first arrested April 3

Niagara Regional Police have re-arrested a West Lincoln man as part of an ongoing child luring investigation originally announced on April 3.

On May 2, Johnathan Jeffrey Ahlstedt was taken into custody again following further investigative efforts.

Ahlstedt now faces additional charges including multiple counts of telecommunication with a person believed to be underage for the purposes of creating child pornography, making sexually explicit material available to a minor, unlawful possession of child pornography, and facilitating sexual touching.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
