Niagara Regional Police are investigating an attempted break-in at a jewelry store in Welland.
Police say two masked men used a white Volkswagen Touareg to ram the front of the business near Thorold Road and Prince Charles Drive just before 5:00pm Monday.
The suspects were unable to get inside and fled in a black Audi Q7, last seen heading south on Lloyd Avenue at a high rate of speed.
No injuries were reported, but the building sustained significant damage, and police are warning the public to use caution if they see the suspects or vehicle.
