Police have identified the remains of a body found in Niagara Falls three years ago.
Inspector Andrew Knevel of the Homicide Unit says this happened through advanced forensics.
The home that was demolished was located at 7081 Stanley Avenue, a home that had been a rental unit from the 70s to 2018, according to police.
Inspector Knevel says police believe Leblanc died in the mid-1990s. He says anyone with any information should reach out.
Police add that she lived in both St. Catharines and Niagara Falls, but was originally from New Brunswick. She was in her 30s during the 1990s, but was never reported as a missing person.
Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
