Petes Top IceDogs

A sold-out Meridian Centre watched two goals in the opening period prove to be the difference as the IceDogs dropped a 4-1 decision to visiting Peterborough Friday night.

Niagara was victimized twice on the power-play before a even strength goal in the second made it a 3-0 score. Jakub Chromiak struck for his 9th on the power-play as the period ended with the IceDogs down a pair.

In the third, the IceDogs kept coming but could not cut into the Petes advantage. An empty-net goal late closed out the scoring.

Sunday afternoon the IceDogs hit the road and travel to Brantford. New Country 89.1 will have the call starting with the pre-game at 1:45.
