The St. Catharines Fire Department evacuated the Pen Centre this morning after a gas odour was reported near the Zehrs store.
Fire crews were called just after 9 a.m. and cleared the mall as a precaution.
The gas company responded, and once ventilation was completed, staff and shoppers were allowed back inside.
