Paul Hamilton named new Niagara Parks Police Chief

The Niagara Parks Commission has announced a changing of the guard for its Chief of Police.

The Police Service says their current Chief, Paul Forcier, will be retiring June 5th, and have appointed Paul Hamilton to fill his role.

He joins Niagara Parks following a 35-year career in public safety, recently serving as Support Services Deputy Chief with Hamilton Police Service.

Hamilton begins his role June 1, overseeing a Niagara Parks Police Service that protects and patrols the 56-kilometre Niagara River corridor, including Niagara Falls.
